Mayor Luis “Chavit” Singson elected as New LMP National President

MAKATI CITY – With an astounding unanimous vote, Mayor Luis “Chavit” C. Singson of Narvacan, Ilocos Sur was elected as the new LMP National President for the term 2019-2022. The Election of Officers was held with the First National Directorate Meeting at the New World Hotel last 6 November 2019.

Other mayors elected to the LMP National Executive Committee were:

  • Executive Vice President for Operations Mayor Atty. Ma. Theresa D. Constantino of Malungon, Saranggani;
  • Vice President for Internal Affairs Mayor Atty. Jason John A. Joyce of Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental;
  • Vice President for External Affairs Mayor Dr. Denise Florence Bernos-Bragas of Danglas, Abra;
  • Vice President for Luzon Mayor Edgardo G. Flores of Minalin, Pampanga;
  • Vice President for Visayas Mayor Atty. Ma. Esperanza Christina G. Frasco of Liloan, Cebu;
  • Vice President for Mindanao Mayor Rey B. Buhisan of Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental;
  • National Treasurer Mayor Franklin D. Lim, CPA of Santiago, Agusan del Norte ;

LMP 2019-2022 ExeCom Composition

Mayor Atty. Cynthia G. Falcotelo-Fortes of Barcelona, Sorsogon was appointed as Secretary-General and Mayor Leopoldo N. Bataoil of Lingayen, Pangasinan was named new Presidential Spokesperson. Also appointed to various LMP positions were: Vice President for Special Concerns Mayor Valentino R. Patron of San Jose, Batangas; Assistant National Treasurer Mayor Jose R. Dizon of Guimba, Nueva Ecija; Deputy Secretary-General Mayor Jose Enrique M. Miraflores of Ibajay, Aklan; Assistant Legal Counsel Mayor Atty. Dimnatang L. Pansar of Butig, Lanao del Sur; Assistant National Auditor Mayor Ambrosio C. Cruz, Jr. of Guiguinto, Bulacan; and Assistant Business Manager Mayor Dean S. Villa.

In addition, 11 mayors were appointed as Presidential Advisers, namely: Mayors Arnold S. Bautista of Tumauini, Isabela; Vicente G. Pagurayan of Sto Niño, Cagayan; Lorna Q. Velasco of Torrijos, Marinduque; Ramon A. Preza of Tiaong, Quezon; Edgardo A. Ramos of Pila, Laguna; Rosario Mediatrix P. Fernandez of San Enrique, Iloilo; Fermin M. Mabulo of San Fernando, Camarines Sur; Anamel C. Olegario of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay; Emmanuel C. Galila of Nueva Valencia, Guimaras; Moh. Mustafa S.
